Welcome
to the Radio Museum of the City of Fürth

The pages concerning our regular, static exhibition are available in English language versions. Please check the navigation bar to the left for active (=underlined) links. If you are interested in latest news and current affairs, however, please use a service like the Google Language Tools to get an automatic translation of our German language website. While being far from perfect, this may be of some assistance to our international readers...

The Radio Museum of the City of Fürth opened its doors in October 1993. For almost eight years, the museum was originally accommodated in side-buildings of the Fürth-Burgfarrnbach Castle. However, cramped facilities made it necessary to move to larger quarters. Since autumn 2001, accommodated in the previous Grundig Executive Board offices, the museum now has available considerably larger exhibition space and is, furthermore, situated in a central position.
